SB19 Is Entering Their “GOAT” Era with Lawless

It all started with one word: GOAT.

Being the Kings of P-pop that they are, SB19 is showing why they are the greatest of all time in a fierce new chapter. The group has A’TIN wrapped around their fingers once again with a string of teasers leading up to the release of their upcoming track, Lawless.

The five-member act first piqued fans’ curiosity two weeks ago when they changed their social media icons to an image of a white goat, along with a cover photo of a herd. The caption? You guessed it: “GOATED.”

This was followed by a cryptic series of photos of what appeared to be an old-fashioned house and a classic black car bearing the plate number, “ESB 1819.” Next came concept photos of the group and its members dressed in plush tailored suits inside an opulent vintage living room. The sharp, luxurious styling and design sparked theories among fans that the comeback may be mafia-inspired.

On Wednesday, SB19 officially announced that the audio and music video of Lawless will come out on July 31, unveiling cover art that once again features the white goat motif. They also dropped a striking photo of the members, this time in streetwear-inspired looks, leaning on the same retro black car while a towering white goat looms behind them. Its caption read: “We don’t stop at borders. We go beyond them. Better watch your back.”

The comeback arrives as the P-pop powerhouse continues to rack up milestone after milestone in the global scene. Recently, the group was announced as the first-ever Filipino act to throw the ceremonial first pitch before the Major League Baseball (MLB) showdown between the Chicago White Sox and the New York Yankees on July 29.

That historic pitch is just one stop on SB19’s jam-packed United States schedule. Come July 28, they will perform at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles, California before making their much-anticipated debut at Lollapalooza in Chicago on July 30. The group will then hold an I WaS There fan meeting from August 8 to 9 before heading back to Asia for one of their biggest stages, the Summer Sonic Festival, happening on August 14 and 15. SB19 will wrap up their Japan leg with another thanksgiving for A’TIN. In October, they will return to the U.S. for the first-ever KPOPWORLD Festival & Worldwide Dance Competition in San Antonio, Texas, becoming the only non-Korean act to perform at the event.

To think much of this is happening in just two months. Indeed, we can expect no less from the GOAT
