And So It Begins: ENHYPEN Returns to Manila in October
For the first time as a sextet.
Four months since former member Heeseung parted ways with ENHYPEN, many fans are still trying to come to terms with the group’s new era. While some may have already found closure, for others, the sting remains quite fresh — a heartbreak that any fandom dealing with a member’s departure knows all too well.
Now comes the moment of truth for Filipino ENGENEs. The K-pop sensation is coming back to the Philippines this October, but only—and officially—as a six-member group.
Dunkin’ Philippines announced that ENHYPEN will hold a fan meeting on October 3, 2026 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. More details have yet to be unveiled. But whether you’re a long-time ENGENE or a casual follower, one thing is hard to miss: unlike their previous social media posts where Heeseung was still included, the announcement only featured remaining members Jungwon, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-ki this time.
For Filipino ENGENEs, it makes the OT6 era feel real — as if reality is finally sinking in that this is what “home” means to them now. It will be their first time watching and supporting ENHYPEN in person as a sextet, marking a bittersweet yet significant moment for both the group and the fans.
It was in March 2025 when ENHYPEN last visited the country for their Walk the Line World Tour in Bulacan — which, as it turned out, was their final performance as a seven-member ensemble. One year later, their agency, BELIFT LAB, announced the departure of Heeseung from the group to pursue his solo career under a new stage name, EVAN.
Despite the changes they had to go through, ENHYPEN continues to forge ahead with new music and performances. Just last month, they dropped their latest single, We’ll Be Fine, which fans saw as a comforting reassurance. The K-pop boy band is expected to release their eighth EP, The Sin: Bliss, in August — their first mini album since transitioning into a six-member act.
With ENHYPEN and Filipino ENGENEs set to reunite again soon, the upcoming fan meeting will be much more than just another international stop. It is a chance for them to start writing a new story together: one that acknowledges the group’s past while embracing their future and, at the same time, celebrates the fans who have chosen not to leave their side.
Because for ENGENEs, no matter how many there are or where they choose to go, home is—and will always be—the seven starry-eyed boys who hold their hearts.
