PENSHOPPE Drops First-Ever Designer Lab Collaboration with ABAKADA
Chicago streetwear meets Manila style in this 23-piece, limited-edition collection.
PENSHOPPE officially unveils its first-ever PENSHOPPE Designer Lab collaboration with ABAKADA, bringing the much-anticipated limited-edition collection to consumers across the Philippines. First previewed during the recent PURVEYr affair, the project signals a brand new chapter for the initiative that aims to make room for fresh ideas, creative perspectives, and meaningful collaborations in fashion.
For its inaugural partnership, PENSHOPPE teamed up with the Filipino-owned, Chicago-based retail brand known for its contemporary take on local identity and culture. The collaboration, featuring dozens of limited-edition pieces, connects Chicago streetwear with Manila’s fashion scene, reinterpreting familiar design codes through ABAKADA’s distinct lens.
The newly dropped pieces showcase modern takes on everyday staples, including relaxed T-shirts, pullovers, hoodies, mesh jerseys, resort shirts, and varsity jackets. These reflect the meeting point between Chicago’s streetwear culture and Manila’s dynamic, youthful style, creating a collection that feels both rooted and globally relevant.
More than a collaboration, PENSHOPPE x ABAKADA Designer Lab serves as proof of the brand’s commitment to creating space for what’s in and what’s up-and-coming in fashion, as well as providing a platform for Filipino creatives to reach more audiences both locally and globally.

The PENSHOPPE x ABAKADA Designer Lab collaboration features 23 limited-edition pieces, with prices ranging from ₱599 to ₱5,499.
It is available in selected PENSHOPPE stores nationwide, giving consumers across the country the opportunity to discover and shop for the capsule.
