"Start them young,” as the saying goes, rings true not only in the Philippines but also across the globe, where young actors consistently leave a lasting impression on audiences.
Consider the likes of Zaijan Jaranilla, whose portrayal of “Santino” in “May Bukas Pa” touched the hearts of countless viewers, or Xyriel Manabat, whose outstanding performances as “Madam Ana” in “100 Days to Heaven” and her titular role in “Agua Bendita” earned her widespread acclaim.
Among these rising talents is Andrez Del Rosario, who ventured on a similar journey. You might recognize this Star Magic Freshie from his roles as the young Joshua Garcia in “Ngayon at Kailanman” (2018), the young JC Santos in “Till’ I Met You” (2016), or most notably as Jack Mabunga in “Pamilya Ko” (2019) alongside Maris Racal and Sylvia Sanchez, among others.
Beyond his career in acting, the young Kapamilya artist aspires to leave a lasting impact as a compassionate friend and ally to those around him. Embracing his full Leo spirit, he embodies warmth, humor, and a zest for life that shines through both on and off the screen.
“I want to be remembered as a good friend to everyone,” he shares candidly. “Someone you can reach out to anytime. Someone who will never let his friends go down the ugly path and help them find the good things in life.”
Whether he’s spreading joy with his undeniable charm or lending a helping hand to those in need, Andrez’s commitment to kindness is as evident as his talent. And let’s not forget his prowess for dancing. Inspired by Korean fashion and sporting oversized clothes, this Junior High School completer from UST - Angelicum College knows how to groove with style.
To get to know Andrez more, Parcinq sat down with him and talked about some cute details in his life.
