Joyce Irish Agmata
Life changing. This is how Joyce Irish Agmata would define her Kumu career. What started out as a pastime has now transformed into a familiar world for Joyce, albeit one that comes with daunting labels.
"It is overwhelming to be called a 'content creator' because I believe we need to act as role models. Many people watch us, and they can say whatever they want, even if it's hurtful," she expresses.
Despite this, she boasts about her ability to handle different kinds of audiences and manage pressure. While acknowledging that she could not have done it without the support of her family, friends, and the KUMUnity.
For Joyce, kindness and maturity in the workplace are essential to thrive in the content creation community. "I want to work without feeling awkward around other streamers, gifters, and viewers." Five years from now, @irishnasadgirl on Kumu dreams of being one of the recognized faces of Kumu on all social media platforms.
“All hard work pays off,” Joyce asserts. And look where she is now. She just enjoyed a spontaneous rain photoshoot with PARCINQ, and it’s only the beginning.

If others hesitated to livestream on Kumu, Leah, on the other hand, courageously went for it. She imparts the advice, "Seize the day! Life is short! So, whenever you feel it’s time to do it, do it!”
During the pandemic, the extroverted Leah needed an outlet for her sadness from being confined at home. Now, the former area manager is reaching new heights as @_lemonicious_, all thanks to Kumu.
Leah considers Kumu a dream come true. “Kumu brought me to places that I’ve never been before, like right now, I cannot imagine I’m already on PARCINQ Magazine,” she enthuses.
As a versatile and skilled streamer, Leah adapts to challenges with ease. Whether meeting expectations or aligning with the audience's mood, she remains flexible and professional. Her top priority is ensuring her audience's happiness and instilling fresh hope in their lives.
In the years to come, Leah envisions herself managing big channels on the Kumu app that spread positivity and good vibes. “I simply want to be remembered as a singer and a comedian who can also give advice and motivation in life.”

“You will never know unless you try,” shares Mia as she describes her Kumu journey. Although introverted and struggling with social interactions, she tried, nonetheless. At present, @mia.c on Kumu is thriving and the app has opened up opportunities she could never have imagined.
It was a rough start, but many believed in her capabilities, along with her resilient attitude. "There are going to be days when you invest all your efforts and time but still get nothing in return. Yes, I do get disappointed somehow, but I always get back up to continue what I started," acknowledges Mia.
Reeling with positivity, she always encourages others to embrace self-love and focus on pursuits that bring them happiness. Tattoos and all, Mia enjoys modeling, and she found Kumu instrumental in shaping her career. She secured opportunities that wouldn't have come her way had she not taken a chance on the app.
Now, Mia’s gracing a magazine feature, and she enjoyed every bit of the Kumu x PARCINQ experience. "It didn’t just help improve my portfolio, but it was also an exciting shoot with a great concept they had," she teases.
