Christian Bootle Continues Exploring What Excites Him

Reading, writing, binge-watching movies, and painting—these are classic go-tos for keeping ourselves entertained. Some of us stick with these hobbies for years, while others are like hobby-hoppers on a quest for the next big thrill.

If sticking to one activity feels like a one-way ticket to Boredomville, Filipino-British model Christian Bootle is one of those adventurous souls who is always on the hunt for the next fun thing to dive into.

“My favorite activities I’ve picked up have been pottery, boxing and cooking classes,” Christian reveals. As a Virgo, Christian’s meticulous nature shines through in everything he does. “I’m always punctual and organized, it's a blessing and a curse because I’m always rushing around and trying to get to places 30 minutes before.”

For Christian, life is a continuous adventure, and his ever-evolving interests reflect this zest for new experiences. His style journey mirrors his dynamic nature. “My favorites and style have definitely shifted over time,” he says. “I used to be all about sneakers, street style, and those oversized, layered looks. While that was fun, I’ve moved on to something that feels more refined.”

These days, the 26-year-old Fashion Marketing graduate in London embraces a style that highlights his physique with understated elegance: “I’ve realized I love dressing in a way that accentuates my body. It might seem simpler, but it’s about subtle elegance rather than bold logos. I’m all about that quiet fashion vibe—where personal style and body-conscious design come together seamlessly.”

When asked about his legacy, he hopes people will remember him as the ultimate “feeder.” He loves the idea of being known for making sure everyone around him is well-fed and happy. Cooking is a passion of his, and though he does it more often back home, there’s nothing quite like the joy of seeing someone savor and enjoy his meals.

With a keen eye for both adventure and style, Christian, who has been modeling for nine years and now signed with New Monarq in Manila, continues to explore and redefine what excites him, both in life and fashion.

Parcinq sat down with Christian to get to know him better.

Q. What’s your skincare routine?

Christian: “I like to keep it simple for my skin type. I’m not too oily or dry, so I stick to a nice foaming cleanser, use a low-percentage retinol 3-4 times a week before bed, and moisturize every time. When I’m feeling extra, I’ll use a peptide or vitamin serum, but I’ve found that retinol has done wonders for me.”

Q. What would be your superpower?

Christian: “The best that comes to mind is teleporting. I feel like that's a basic one but having the ability to go wherever I want without hurting my booty sitting on a flight for 20 hours feels like a nice time. Also obviously being able to see my family whenever is high on that list also.”

Q. Tell us about any hidden talents you possess that most people do not know about

Christian: “I’m an avid gamer, which is something not many people expect or know about me, aside from my friends who game with me. I’m not sure if it’s a talent since I’m not the best, but my heart is in it, and that’s what matters.”

Q. What’s your biggest pet peeve?

Christian: “I hate it when someone is too glued to their phone while we're together. I love talking and getting to know people better. Even with close friends, I still want to have a good chat—there’s always more to learn.”

Q. Any advice for fresh models on how to break into the fashion industry?

Christian: “Be patient and always trust in your ability and drive. If you don’t get a job you wanted, remember that there will always be another opportunity, and it doesn’t reflect on your worth as a model. Try to enjoy the process and don’t take it too seriously. It can be the most fun job in the world, but never let it consume your life. Your individuality will stand out, which is exactly what brands love.”
